Ancient Kingdoms Festival Returns with Architectural Highlights in AlUla, Saudi Arabia

The AlUla Moments has officially launched ticket sales for this year’s Ancient Kingdoms Festival, a significant heritage event taking place from November 7 to 30. Guests will have a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the secrets of ancient civilizations that flourished in the old oasis thousands of years ago.

This third edition of the festival features a variety of daytime experiences, exploratory journeys, and nighttime tours inspired by the rich past of AlUla, led by a specialized team. Noteworthy heritage sites include Al-Hijr, Saudi Arabia's first UNESCO World Heritage site; Wadi Al-Na'am, a valley with stunning rock formations; and the old town of AlUla, recognized as one of the world’s top tourist villages.

For the first time, the Maraya Hall will host a collection of artifacts in collaboration with the National Archaeological Museum of Naples, showcasing historical treasures from the region. The festival also emphasizes the ancient incense route, offering guests an immersive experience through the heritage of the old town with live performances and modern technology that tell interactive stories of archaeological treasures.

Returning for its popularity is the famous Evening at Al-Hijr, which highlights the mysteries of the ancient world in a more dazzling manner than ever before. This nighttime event, praised by guests and global media, offers a captivating exploration of Al-Hijr's landmarks, showcasing the stunning natural scenery and Nabatean history in a unique and innovative way.

Additionally, the festival will feature a drone show titled 'Stories from the Sky,' presenting an extraordinary audiovisual display of ancient ruins. The classical candlelight concert at Al-Hijr will provide visitors with three unique immersive musical experiences.

This year’s Ancient Kingdoms Festival promises a wide variety of events, from innovative presentations that evoke the grandeur of ancient civilizations to interactive activities designed for families.
