Representatives from Russia and the United States are scheduled to hold consultations in Istanbul in the coming days. According to the Russian news agency Tass, citing the Foreign Ministry in Moscow, the Russian delegation will be led by the new Russian Ambassador to the United States, Alexander Darchiyev. The US delegation will be headed by Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Sonata Coulter, Tass reports. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that the meeting, set for Thursday, will focus on normalizing diplomatic relations between the two countries.
