Italy to Unveil Plan to Protect Exports Amid US Tariff Threats

Italy's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani announced that a plan to safeguard Italian businesses and exports will be presented on April 2nd. This initiative responds to potential tariffs on European exports by the U.S. administration. Tajani highlighted the importance of mitigating potential economic damage from these tariffs and emphasized support for Italian companies. He also identified promising export markets, including the Cotton Route linking India, Israel, Gulf countries, and Italy, as well as Mexico, Vietnam, Indonesia, Turkey, and the Gulf countries.
