Sweden Allocates Billions in Aid to Ukraine

Edited by: S Света

Sweden has announced it will provide billions in aid to Ukraine. The Swedish government has pledged 4.8 billion crowns to support Ukraine's defense. This is part of the 19th aid package approved by the Swedish Parliament on June 29. The aid package includes both military and financial assistance. It will support Ukraine's armed forces and defense industry. It also includes investments in new systems produced in Ukraine, using a Swedish model. Sweden's government plans to increase defense spending to 3.5% of GDP by 2030. This would be the highest level since the Cold War era.
