Kenya and Brazil to deepen cooperation through parliamentary friendship group

Kenya and Brazil have agreed to establish a parliamentary friendship group. This aims to deepen cooperation between the two countries. The focus will be on parliamentary, diplomatic, agricultural, and economic ties.

The agreement was reached during discussions in Brasília. The Kenyan delegation was led by National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang'ula. They met with their Brazilian counterparts to discuss shared goals.

Brazil committed to supporting the transfer of agricultural technology to Kenya. This move aims to boost productivity and modernize farming practices. It will also empower smallholder farmers.

The Brazilian Chambers of Commerce pledged to expand business relations with Kenya. Discussions focused on attracting investment in agribusiness and infrastructure. This will align parliamentary efforts with economic diplomacy.
