Jordan And Kuwait Sign Cooperation Agreements

On July 9, 2025, Jordan's Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman Safadi, and Kuwait's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Abdullah Ali Al Yahya, signed six cooperation agreements in Amman.

These agreements cover sectors such as tourism, culture, education, scientific research, labor mobility, and diplomatic collaboration. Executive programs for tourism (2025-2027) and cultural cooperation (2025-2028) were signed, along with a program to strengthen collaboration in higher education and scientific research (2025-2030).

Discussions also included initiatives to increase trade, improve cooperation in food and pharmaceutical security, and promote private sector integration. The ministers addressed the situation in Gaza, condemning Israeli aggression and emphasizing the need for a ceasefire and humanitarian aid.
