International Astronaut Team Launches to ISS on Axiom 4 Mission

On June 25, 2025, an international team of astronauts launched to the International Space Station (ISS) aboard a SpaceX Crew Dragon capsule as part of the Axiom 4 mission.

The mission, organized by Axiom Space in collaboration with SpaceX and NASA, marks the fifth orbital flight for veteran Peggy Whitson and the first ISS mission for astronauts from India, Poland, and Hungary: Shubhanshu Shukla, Sławosz Uznański-Wiśniewski, and Tibor Kapu.

The Crew Dragon capsule, named "Grace," launched from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida and is expected to dock with the ISS after a 28-hour flight. The crew will spend 14 days on board, conducting research in microgravity conditions.
