Edited by: Anna 🌎 Krasko

SpaceX and NASA have concluded the private Fram2 mission, during which the Crew Dragon spacecraft, carrying a crew of four, ventured into polar orbit for the first time. The capsule, with its astronaut crew, successfully landed in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of California, completing a journey over Earth's poles that lasted over three days. The Fram2 mission, financed by Maltese crypto-billionaire Chun Wang, who also served as the crew's commander, included Norwegian film producer Jannicke Mikkelsen, German Rabea Rogge, and Australian Eric Phillips. The mission commenced several days prior with the astronauts launching from Kennedy Space Center in Florida aboard a Falcon 9 rocket. During their time in space, the Fram2 crew conducted 22 scientific experiments. One notable experiment involved capturing the first-ever X-ray image of a human in space. Another experiment, named MushVroom, focused on studying how mushrooms grow in microgravity conditions. Additionally, an experiment was conducted to investigate human organ recovery processes post-spaceflight.
