Florida Attorney General Launches Criminal Investigation into Andrew and Tristan Tate

Florida's Attorney General, James Uthmeier, has initiated a criminal investigation into social media influencers Andrew and Tristan Tate. This development follows their arrival in Florida after Romanian authorities lifted a travel ban related to their pending human trafficking case. Uthmeier stated he has directed the Office of Statewide Prosecution to execute search warrants and issue subpoenas in the active investigation. The Tate brothers, who hold dual US-British citizenship, are accused of operating a criminal ring that exploited women in Romania. Andrew Tate also faces accusations of rape. They deny all allegations. Governor Ron DeSantis stated that the Tates are not welcome in Florida, emphasizing that the state will use all legal means to hold them accountable if they have committed crimes there.
