PS Renewables and Ørsted's One Earth Solar Farm project, located on the border of Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire, UK, has entered the 'pre-examination stage' after its Development Consent Order (DCO) application was accepted. The project, spanning approximately 1,600 hectares, includes a solar farm and a battery energy storage system (BESS). It aims to generate enough energy to power over 200,000 homes annually. The location was selected due to grid connection availability at High Marnham following the decommissioning of a coal-fired power station. The masterplan has been revised to minimize proximity to residential areas.
