Samsung has officially launched its latest flagship tablet series, the Galaxy Tab S11, at IFA 2025 in Berlin. The new lineup, featuring the Galaxy Tab S11 and the larger Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, integrates advanced artificial intelligence with powerful performance and a sophisticated design.
The Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra boasts an expansive 14.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 2960 x 1848 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It measures a slim 5.1 mm and weighs 692 grams, making it Samsung's thinnest Galaxy Tab to date. The standard Galaxy Tab S11 offers a more compact 11-inch screen with a 2560 x 1600 resolution, also supporting a 120Hz refresh rate.
Both models are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ 3nm chipset, which provides a significant performance boost with a reported 24% increase in CPU and 27% in GPU capabilities over the previous generation. Users can choose between 12 GB or 16 GB of RAM and storage options ranging from 256 GB to 1 TB, expandable up to 2 TB via microSD. The Tab S11 Ultra is equipped with an 11,600 mAh battery, while the Tab S11 features an 8,400 mAh battery, both supporting 45W fast charging.
Running on One UI 8, based on Android 16, the Galaxy Tab S11 series incorporates Samsung's Galaxy AI features, including Gemini Live for real-time conversational assistance, and Drawing Assist and Writing Assist to refine creative inputs. The redesigned S Pen, now with a hexagonal grip and a precision cone-shaped tip, enhances user comfort and accuracy.
Productivity is further boosted by an enhanced Samsung DeX experience. The new Extended Mode allows the Tab S11 Ultra to function as a dual-screen setup when connected to an external display, enabling up to four customizable workspaces for improved multitasking. This feature leverages Android 16's new Desktop Mode.
The Galaxy Tab S11 series will be available starting September 4, 2025, in gray and silver finishes. In the US, pricing starts at $799.99 for the Galaxy Tab S11 (128 GB) and $1,199.99 for the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra (256 GB). In the Netherlands, the Galaxy Tab S11 begins at €899 (12 GB RAM + 128 GB storage), with the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra starting at €1,339 (12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage).
