DS Automobiles has officially announced the launch of the DS 3 Maison Sarah Lavoine, a prestigious special edition that will headline the brand’s 2026 Collection. This creative partnership with acclaimed French designer Sarah Poniatowski and her design firm, Maison Sarah Lavoine—which has been a staple of the design world since its founding in 2002—is rooted in a shared foundational philosophy: "Beauty does good" (La bellezza fa bene). This strategic collaboration represents a significant step for the brand as it moves toward a more aesthetically enriched market offering, with order books for this exclusive modification scheduled to open on April 1, 2026.
Xavier Peugeot, the CEO of DS Automobiles, highlighted that this project represents a seamless fusion of contemporary craftsmanship and high style, furthering the brand's goal of turning the automobile into a sanctuary for well-being. The exterior of the DS 3 Maison Sarah Lavoine is defined by a bespoke livery developed in close coordination with the DS Automobiles CMF (Colors, Materials, and Finishes) team. The model is presented in four sophisticated color palettes: Emerald Green, Black Pearl Black, Lazurite Blue, and Crystal Pearl. To ensure a striking visual contrast, the first three shades are paired with a new Crème Pathénon roof, while the Crystal Pearl finish is complemented by a Black Pearl Black roof. The vehicle's aesthetic cohesion is further enhanced by "Bleu Sarah" decorative stripes on the roof and pillars, 18-inch alloy wheels with centers that match the roof color, and a unique signature badge on the hood.
The interior of the vehicle has been meticulously crafted to provide a warm, inviting atmosphere that mirrors the intricate principles of haute couture. The cabin features premium black Alcantara upholstery, which is beautifully offset by contrast stitching in cream and blue. For an added touch of designer luxury, the "MSL" logo is embroidered directly onto the headrests, and the door sills are adorned with Sarah Poniatowski’s personal signature alongside the inspiring phrase "Le beau fait du bien." Beyond the visual updates, the cabin benefits from an ergonomic redesign, including a modified center console that visually expands the interior space and promotes a sense of harmony for both the driver and passengers.
As the avant-garde representative of the Stellantis group, DS Automobiles is continuing its dedicated path toward total electrification, a strategy exemplified by the DS 3 E-TENSE. The technological suite of this special edition includes the "majelan X Automotive mix" application, which offers private customers in France one year of complimentary access to a wealth of exclusive content, including podcasts and editorial materials, through a partnership with the majelan X platform. Buyers are offered a choice between two advanced powertrains: a 145-horsepower self-charging hybrid or a 156-horsepower fully electric E-TENSE version. The electric variant is particularly notable for its impressive range, which is rated at up to 396 kilometers on a single charge.
Regarding market availability and pricing, the starting cost for the Italian market has been established at 38,300 euros for the hybrid model, while the fully electric E-TENSE version begins at 44,550 euros. This special series serves as a clear demonstration of the brand's unwavering commitment to merging high-end design, exceptional comfort, and sustainable electrified solutions. Such initiatives are central to the long-term vision of DS Automobiles as it transitions into becoming a fully electric luxury brand, ensuring that future mobility remains as beautiful as it is efficient.
