Lotus EVIJA 2025: All-Electric Hypercar Redefines Performance

Lotus is expanding into electric vehicles with the Evija, an all-electric hypercar. * The Evija features four electric motors producing a combined 2,000 horsepower, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in under 3 seconds. * It achieves a top speed of 320 km/h and offers a range of 345 km with its 70 kWh battery, which can be fully charged in 18 minutes using an 800 kW charger. * The car's design emphasizes aerodynamics, incorporating carbon fiber to reduce weight and enhance performance. * Advanced technologies include torque vectoring and a Drag Reduction System (DRS) to improve handling and speed. * Equipped with 11 cameras, 6 radar units, and 12 ultrasonic sensors for advanced driver assistance and safety. * Limited to 130 units globally, the Evija starts at $2,355,000, offering extensive customization options.
