Google has integrated its Gemini AI assistant into the Chrome browser, offering users enhanced web assistance. The AI is designed to provide insights and answer questions about open tabs directly within the browser. Gemini can assist with tasks such as modifying recipes for dietary restrictions or summarizing product reviews. Initially, it will address queries about a single tab, with multi-tab capabilities planned for future updates. Gemini in Chrome is rolling out to AI Pro and AI Ultra subscribers in the United States on Mac and Windows. Google has not yet announced plans for Chromebooks or the Chrome mobile app.
