Google unveils Flow, an AI-powered filmmaking app for creators

Edited by: Veronika Nazarova

Google has launched Flow, a new AI-powered filmmaking application designed for creators. Flow combines Google's AI technologies like Veo, Imagen, and Gemini to assist in storytelling, enabling users to explore ideas and create video clips and scenes. The app is built upon the Veo 2 model, which extends footage and generates video with realistic physics. Users can use Gemini's natural language processing to refine video output and integrate their own assets or create new ones with Imagen through text prompts. Flow is currently available to AI Pro and AI Ultra subscribers in the US, with plans to expand to other countries. Pro users receive Flow tools and 100 generations per month, while Ultra subscribers get unlimited generation and early access to Veo 3, including native audio generation.
