Bengaluru, India - 'Love You', a 95-minute Kannada film, has been certified as the world's first full-length feature film entirely created using artificial intelligence (AI). Narasimha Murthy, a priest, directed the film with AI technician Nuthan, utilizing nearly 30 AI tools. The film received a U/A certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). The team of two generated the entire cast, soundtrack, visuals, and drone-style shots. Completed in six months with a budget of Rs 10 lakh, the film features 12 original songs and AI-generated dialogues. Murthy acknowledged AI's limitations, noting inconsistencies in character features and challenges in creating emotional expressions. Murthy is already planning two more AI-driven projects. These include films about Bengaluru's founder, Kempe Gowda, and historical figure Immadi Pulikeshi. The first of these is expected to be completed within two months.
