Detroit rapper Obie Trice has officially signed with Greenback Records, the label founded by UFC superstar Conor McGregor. This new chapter for the acclaimed artist coincides with the release of his latest single, "TBH (To Be Honest)," which dropped on September 12, 2025.

Greenback Records has been expanding its roster, having previously welcomed artists such as Xzibit and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony. Conor McGregor personally welcomed Obie Trice via a video message, signaling a new phase for both the artist and the burgeoning record company. This collaboration merges hip-hop and combat sports, with anticipation high for the creative output from this unique partnership.

Obie Trice, a veteran of the music industry, first gained prominence as part of Eminem's Shady Records. His multi-platinum debut album, "Cheers," released in 2003, featured collaborations with Eminem, Dr. Dre, 50 Cent. His subsequent album, "Second Rounds On Me" (2006), also achieved international success. Trice is known for his raw storytelling and sharp lyricism.

Following this significant signing, Obie Trice is scheduled to embark on a tour across Europe and North America. Several performances are already confirmed, with European dates set for October 2025. His tour includes stops in Oslo on October 9, London on October 14, and Manchester on October 16, among other cities.

Conor McGregor's venture into music with Greenback Records extends beyond hip-hop, as evidenced by the label's earlier signing of the British girl band Sweet Love. This diverse approach reflects McGregor's ambition to support a broad range of musical talent and challenge traditional industry norms by offering artists fair deals and recognition.
