K-Pop group LE SSERAFIM and J-Pop duo YOASOBI have collaborated on a new track titled "the NOISE," a reimagining of YOASOBI's hit song "Yoru ni Kakeru." The song, released on September 26, 2025, blends city pop and Y2K aesthetics to create a fresh, nostalgic soundscape. This collaboration celebrates the 20th anniversary of the Japanese online fashion platform ZOZOTOWN.

"the NOISE" samples YOASOBI's "Yoru ni Kakeru," with new lyrics and arrangements by Tokyo Coffee Break. The track features LE SSERAFIM's clear vocals and YOASOBI's signature storytelling style. The music video for "the NOISE" is slated for release in mid-October 2025.

Further solidifying their presence in Japan, LE SSERAFIM is scheduled to perform at ZOZOTOWN's anniversary festival, ZOZOFES, on October 13, 2025, in Yokohama. YOASOBI is also set to perform at the festival on the same day. ZOZOFES, themed around "Y2K," aims to connect ZOZOTOWN's origins in 2004 with the present, featuring special collaborations and merchandise.

YOASOBI's "Yoru ni Kakeru," released in November 2019, achieved significant success, surpassing one million YouTube views in its first month and accumulating over 1.1 billion total streaming plays and received diamond certification from RIAJ. The song is based on Mayo Hoshino's story "Thanatos no Yuuwaku" and explores themes of love and despair. LE SSERAFIM has also seen considerable success in the Japanese market, with their Japanese single "CRAZY" topping charts, and their mini-album "Easy" setting sales records, showing a 25% growth compared to previous releases. LE SSERAFIM also became the first K-pop girl group to receive "double platinum" status from the Recording Industry Association of Japan for their debut single.
