Kesha Launches North American Tour Supporting Independent Album 'Period'

Artist Kesha is currently touring across North America on "The Tits Out Tour," an endeavor supporting her sixth studio album, Period, which was released on July 4, 2025, via her own venture, Kesha Records. This new phase of her career follows the conclusion of protracted legal disputes, allowing the artist to assert greater creative ownership and narrative control.

The settlement of her legal battle with former producer Dr. Luke, which concluded in 2023, directly preceded this self-directed chapter. The Period album reflects this artistic autonomy, featuring a genre-spanning collection that merges Kesha's foundational pop sound with elements of hyperpop, disco, EDM, and country-pop. Kesha conceived, co-produced, and co-wrote the project, collaborating with producers including Zhone, Stuart Crichton, and Hudson Mohawke, alongside songwriting contributions from her mother, Pebe Sebert.

The tour, which commenced on July 1, 2025, in West Valley City, Utah, features support from artists such as Slayyyter and Rose Gray, and co-headlines the initial 25 North American dates with the reunited Scissor Sisters. The setlist is structured to balance established hits like "TiK ToK" and "Die Young" with newer material from Period, including the singles "Boy Crazy" and "Joyride." The live presentation is noted for moving between high-energy anthems and more personal, introspective segments.

A significant moment in the performance is the vocal rendition of "Praying," a track associated with resilience. Reports from the tour indicate that this performance has drawn prolonged standing ovations, including one lasting 11 minutes at Madison Square Garden on July 23, 2025.
