Edited by: Inna Horoshkina One

David Byrne, the iconic frontman of Talking Heads, is set to release his first solo album in seven years, titled "Who Is the Sky?". The album is scheduled for release on September 5, 2025, and features twelve tracks arranged by the New York-based Ghost Train Orchestra. Kid Harpoon, known for his work with artists like Harry Styles and Miley Cyrus, produced the album. "Who Is the Sky?" includes collaborations with St. Vincent and Hayley Williams of Paramore. The lead single, "Everybody Laughs," blends orchestral arrangements with pop sensibilities and is accompanied by a music video directed by Gabriel Barcia-Colombo.

Byrne will embark on an extensive global tour to support the album, beginning September 14, 2025, in Providence, Rhode Island. The tour will cover North America, Australia, New Zealand, Europe, and the United Kingdom, featuring a troupe of 13 performers, many of whom are veterans of Byrne's "American Utopia" live show. This tour continues Byrne's legacy of innovative live performances, showcasing his constant drive for musical exploration and genre-bending artistry.
