Edited by: Inna Horoshkina One
A major benefit concert, titled "Together for Palestine," is scheduled to take place on September 17, 2025, at London's OVO Arena Wembley. This event, spearheaded by musician and producer Brian Eno, aims to raise humanitarian aid for Gaza.
The concert will feature a diverse lineup of artists from the UK and Palestine, including Bastille, Damon Albarn, Elyanna, and Saint Levant. All proceeds from the event will be directed to Palestinian-led organizations providing on-the-ground support in Gaza. These organizations include Taawon, the Palestine Children's Relief Fund, and the Palestine Medical Relief Society. The distribution of funds will be managed by the UK charity Choose Love, which supports refugees and displaced communities globally.
The event will also include special appearances by actors Riz Ahmed and Benedict Cumberbatch. The stage design is a collaboration between designer Es Devlin and Gazan painter Malak Mattar. For those unable to attend in person, the concert will be livestreamed globally on YouTube.
Brian Eno stated that "Artists have always helped societies to point out injustice and imagine better futures. That's why this concert matters." The concert has been in development for approximately 18 months, with initial venue reluctance overcome by the urgency of the situation in Gaza.
The lineup also includes Jamie xx, James Blake, King Krule, PinkPantheress, Hot Chip, Sampha, Cat Burns, and Paloma Faith. The organizers hope to raise millions of pounds for essential aid to address the critical needs of people in Gaza, aiming to provide a platform for artists to express themselves and foster a sense of shared humanity.
