Aerosmith and Yungblud Release First Collaboration in Over a Decade: "My Only Angel"
Edited by: Inna Horoshkina One
Rock legends Aerosmith have teamed up with artist Yungblud for their first new collaborative single in over ten years, titled "My Only Angel." A 30-second preview of the track was released on September 15, 2025, showcasing a blend of Steven Tyler's signature falsetto and Yungblud's energetic delivery, complemented by Joe Perry's iconic guitar work.
The song, produced by Nuno Bettencourt, merges classic hard rock with modern punk influences. This collaboration follows their joint performance at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards, where they paid tribute to the late Ozzy Osbourne with a rendition of "Mama, I'm Coming Home." Ozzy Osbourne passed away in July 2025 at the age of 76.
Aerosmith, formed in 1970, has sold over 150 million albums and won four Grammy Awards. Yungblud, whose real name is Dominic Harrison, recently released his album "Idols" in June 2025, which topped the UK charts, marking his third consecutive number-one album.
Joe Perry is recognized for his blues-rock guitar style, while Steven Tyler is known for his powerful falsetto. Nuno Bettencourt, known for his work with Extreme, contributed his production and guitar skills to the track. "My Only Angel" is set to be Aerosmith's first new studio material since their 2012 album "Music From Another Dimension!".
The song is expected to be available for pre-save soon, with an official release date to be announced, signaling a new creative phase for both artists.
