Britpop legends Pulp have announced their first studio album in 24 years, titled 'More,' set for release on June 6, 2025, via Rough Trade Records. This marks their comeback since 'We Love Life' in 2001. The announcement on April 10, 2025, coincided with the release of their new single, 'Spike Island,' accompanied by a music video directed by Jarvis Cocker that uses AI to reimagine photos from their 'Different Class' album. Frontman Jarvis Cocker shared that the album's creation began during a 2023 tour soundcheck when they played a new song called “Hymn Of The North”. The remaining songs were developed in the first half of 2024, with some ideas dating back to the 1990s. The album was recorded in London over three weeks in November 2024 with producer James Ford. 'More' is dedicated to the memory of bassist Steve Mackey, who passed away in 2023. Pulp, known for iconic hits like 'Common People' and 'Disco 2000,' will embark on tour in June 2025, including dates in the UK, Ireland, and a pair of shows at the Hollywood Bowl with LCD Soundsystem in September.
