UK metalcore band Loathe has released their first new music since 2021. The Liverpudlian group unveiled the single "Gifted Every Strength" via SharpTone on May 2, 2025. This marks their initial release following the album *The Things They Believe In* in 2021.

Loathe had been previewing new tracks during their recent North American tour with Spiritbox. The band's fourth studio album is anticipated to be released in 2025. "Gifted Every Strength" ushers in a new era for Loathe, blending metal, psychedelia, and shoegaze elements.

Touring and Festival Appearances

Loathe is actively touring in 2025. They are performing with bands such as Spiritbox, Korn, and Gojira. Their schedule includes appearances at Download festival in the UK in June, a Canadian tour with Korn and Gojira in September and October, and a performance at When We Were Young in Las Vegas on October 18 and 19, 2025.

Band History

Formed in 2014, Loathe released their debut EP, *Prepare Consume Proceed*, in 2015. Their 2017 debut album, *The Cold Sun*, garnered critical acclaim. *I Let It In...* received a four-star review from Metal Hammer upon its release.
