Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Face Further Staff Departures Amidst Public Scrutiny

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have reportedly seen four more staff members leave their team, adding to the ongoing scrutiny surrounding the couple. The departures include Kyle Boulia, the LA-based deputy press secretary, and UK press officer Charlie Gipson, both of whom left after less than a year of employment.

Sources indicate that at least two other individuals have also departed in recent weeks. This latest shakeup follows criticism the couple faced earlier this year for hiring new staff to improve their public image. This included Meredith Kendall Maines, as their first chief communications officer.

Maines has described the changes as a "strategic decision," citing the growth of the Duke and Duchess's business and philanthropic interests. She stated that the transition to a more traditional communications structure with agency support would provide better access for international media and stakeholders and faster response times.

The departures include Ashley Hansen, the global press secretary, and Josh Kettler, the chief of staff. Kettler's departure was reportedly mutual after a trial period. An insider noted that despite hiring top professionals, the couple has seen a high turnover rate.

The staff changes come amidst ongoing criticism of the couple, including Prince Harry's interview about his strained relationship with his family. During the interview, Harry expressed a desire for reconciliation with his family.

Meghan Markle has also faced backlash for her lifestyle brand, "As Ever," formerly known as "American Riviera Orchard." She is reportedly expanding the brand into the hotel and restaurant sectors. Furthermore, Markle faced criticism for a delivery room dance video, which she shared in honor of her daughter Lilibet's birthday.

A source told the Daily Mail that Meghan is pleased with the video, despite the criticism. The source added that the video has been well-received in America, especially among young people.
