Dakota Johnson And Pedro Pascal Reveal Awkward First Meeting At Golden Globes

Edited by: Татьяна Гуринович

Dakota Johnson and Pedro Pascal, co-stars in the upcoming film 'Materialists,' recently shared details about their first encounter. The meeting, which took place at the Golden Globes after-party in 2014, was a bit awkward, according to Pascal.

Pascal recalled that Johnson, who was attending the event solo, didn't seem to remember him when they were introduced by Sarah Paulson. This left Pascal feeling slightly embarrassed, as he had already formed a positive impression of Johnson.

Johnson, on the other hand, admitted to having no recollection of the meeting. She described the Met Gala, where they seemingly met again, as a disorienting experience, making it difficult to form genuine connections.

Despite the initial awkwardness, the two actors quickly developed a close friendship. They praised each other's talent and expressed excitement about working together on 'Materialists,' a film exploring the complexities of love and relationships in a materialistic world. The movie is set to be released this summer.
