Brad Pitt is dismissing speculation that his relationship with girlfriend Ines de Ramon was a calculated move to promote his upcoming Formula One movie, F1. In a recent GQ profile, Pitt, 61, addressed the rumors surrounding their public debut nearly a year ago.
"No, dude, it's not that calculated," Pitt quipped, suggesting their appearance at a car race was merely a coincidence. He added, "If you're living ... oh my God, how exhausting would that be? If you're living with making those kinds of calculations? No, life just evolves. Relationships evolve."
Pitt and de Ramon, 32, made their first public appearance at the British Grand Prix in July 2024 and later walked the red carpet together at the Venice International Film Festival in September. This followed Pitt's divorce settlement with Angelina Jolie in December 2024, concluding an eight-year legal battle.
Jolie's lawyer, James Simon, stated that Jolie was relieved this part of the process was over, after filing for divorce more than eight years ago. A source revealed that de Ramon encouraged Pitt to settle the divorce, hoping for him to find peace and move on.
The insider shared, "Ines [wants] Brad to find peace, forgive and move on. From her perspective, it doesn't make sense for him to hold on to all the animosity." The source added that de Ramon's calm demeanor has helped Pitt, and he is "really happy" in the relationship.
