Brad Pitt, 61, addressed his divorce from Angelina Jolie, 49, in a recent interview with GQ. He revealed that he didn't consider it a significant event. "Just something coming to fruition. Legally," Pitt stated.

The divorce was finalized on December 31, 2024, years after Jolie initially filed in September 2016. The couple shares six children: Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, and twins Vivienne and Knox.

Pitt has since moved on with Ines de Ramon, 32, confirming their relationship in September 2024. However, sources suggest Pitt is hesitant about marriage again. "When marriage comes up, Brad changes the subject," an insider told In Touch.

The separation between Pitt and Jolie was contentious, involving custody battles and allegations of an incident on a private jet. Jolie claimed Pitt was physically abusive towards her and the children.

In 2021, a judge initially granted Pitt joint custody, a decision reportedly met with disapproval by some of the children. Maddox reportedly uses "Jolie" instead of "Pitt" on non-legal documents.

Shiloh filed a petition to remove "Pitt" from her last name in May 2024, which was granted in August. A source claimed Pitt felt "blindsided" and believed Jolie influenced the children's decisions.

Police reports from 2016 detailed Jolie's accusations of Pitt's alleged physical altercations during the flight. The report stated that Pitt allegedly "choked one of the children and struck another in the face."
