Milorad Milinković's latest film, "Sedef-Magla," is set to premiere on July 19, 2025, at the Palić Summer Stage. This screening will officially open the 32nd European Film Festival Palić.
The film is set in 1882 and revolves around Jelena Ilka Marković's attempt to assassinate King Milan Obrenović. The story then explores the mysterious deaths connected to the assassination, investigated by a failed lawyer and the Belgrade police chief.
Filming took place during autumn and winter, mirroring the story's timeline, and lasted over 70 days. The cast includes Miloš Timotijević, Petar Strugar, and Milena Predić. Milorad Milinković himself appears in a special role as a bishop. The film will be shown out of competition at the festival, which runs from July 19 to 25, 2025.
"Sedef-Magla" is expected to attract significant attention due to its compelling subject matter and high-quality production. For more information, visit the official European Film Festival Palić website.
