Disney's live-action remake of Lilo & Stitch is making a splash at the box office. Released on May 23, 2025, the film has already surpassed the original 2002 animated film's total earnings in just a few days.

The remake has grossed $341.7 million worldwide as of May 26, 2025, with $183.0 million from the United States and Canada, and $158.7 million from other territories. This makes it the second-largest worldwide opening weekend of 2025, behind A Minecraft Movie. The film also broke the record for the Memorial Day weekend opening, previously held by Top Gun: Maverick.

Directed by Dean Fleischer Camp, the film stars Maia Kealoha as Lilo, with Chris Sanders reprising his role as the voice of Stitch. The success of Lilo & Stitch suggests a promising future for Disney's live-action remakes, blending nostalgia with a fresh appeal for new generations.
