Horror fans are buzzing over the newly released trailer for Black Phone 2, the sequel to the 2021 hit supernatural thriller. Ethan Hawke reprises his role as the terrifying serial child abductor, The Grabber. The film is set to premiere on October 17, 2025.
The sequel picks up four years after the original, with Finn (Mason Thames), now 17, grappling with life after his captivity. His sister Gwen (Madeleine McGraw), now 15, starts receiving calls in her dreams from the black phone, envisioning three boys stalked at a winter camp called Alpine Lake.
Directed by Scott Derrickson, Black Phone 2 promises to be more graphic and violent than its predecessor. The cast also includes Demián Bichir, Miguel Mora, Jeremy Davies, and Arianna Rivas.
