David Cronenberg's 'The Shrouds' to Premiere at Italy's BA Film Festival on March 29, 2025

David Cronenberg's latest film, *The Shrouds*, will have its Italian premiere at the BA Film Festival in Busto Arsizio on March 29, 2025. The festival, running from March 29 to April 5, will open with Cronenberg presenting his film, followed by a masterclass and a discussion with critic Gianni Canova. *The Shrouds*, starring Vincent Cassel, Diane Kruger, and Guy Pearce, follows a businessman who creates a technology to monitor the dead. The film was previously in competition at the Cannes Film Festival 2024. Festival director Giulio Sangiorgio calls Cronenberg "one of the greatest living directors." The festival will feature a week of screenings, events, and masterclasses. The B.A. Film Factory organizes the event with the support of the Municipality of Busto Arsizio and the Michelangelo Antonioni Film Institute.
