Inside Out 2 Breaks Box Office Records as Animated Film Hits $1 Billion Milestone – December 30, 2024

The highly anticipated sequel to Inside Out has shattered box office records since its summer release, becoming the highest-grossing animated film of all time. Just six weeks after its debut, it surpassed Frozen (2013), now boasting over $1 billion in earnings.

In addition to its historic achievement, Inside Out 2 has also emerged as the most-watched film in the U.S. for 2024.

Meanwhile, Deadpool & Wolverine, featuring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, has also made waves at the box office, grossing $636 million in the U.S. out of a total of $1.338 billion worldwide.

Other notable sequels include Moana 2 and Dune Part Two, which have secured the third and fourth spots among the top-grossing films of 2024, with earnings of $882 million and $714 million, respectively.
