Director Anees Bazmee shared intriguing details about the film, revealing that the cast is unaware of the ending. He shot two different climaxes to maintain suspense, stating, "People will be shocked, they'll be like 'oh my god!' We have tried to make a good and beautiful film." Only a few team members are privy to the actual ending.
The trailer features Kartik Aaryan returning as Rooh Baba, alongside the original Manjulika, Vidya Balan. The film also stars Triptii Dimri, Madhuri Dixit, and Rajpal Yadav.
