Edited by: Tasha S Samsonova

On March 12, 2025, twenty-three asteroids will make their closest approach to Earth. Among them is the potentially hazardous asteroid "494658 (2000 UG11)". This asteroid, first observed on October 21, 2000, and last observed on September 10, 2024, has an estimated diameter of 192 to 429 meters. It will approach Earth at 06:16 UTC at a distance of 23.2 million kilometers, traveling at a speed of 56,311.19 km/h. "(2021 CQ3)", estimated between 432 and 967 meters in diameter, is the largest asteroid nearing Earth today, reaching its closest point at 14:22 UTC. "(2025 EB1)" will make the closest approach to Earth, coming within 2.1 million kilometers at 05:26 UTC. Nineteen Earth-crossing asteroids will also approach the planet. Potentially hazardous asteroids are defined as those that come within 0.05 AU (approximately 7.5 million km) of Earth's orbit and have an absolute magnitude of 22 or less, indicating a size large enough to cause significant damage upon impact.
