On March 26, 2025, twenty-three asteroids will make their closest approach to Earth. Among them are two classified as potentially hazardous. NASA currently tracks over 1.1 million asteroids in the solar system, with thousands more discovered monthly. Near-Earth asteroids, which come close to Earth's orbit, receive particular attention due to the potential risk they pose. Asteroid (2007 RU10), estimated to be 402 to 900 meters in diameter, is the largest of these making a close approach. Asteroid (2025 FT) will approach Earth at a distance of 2 million kilometers.
