A tornado briefly touched down in Lithuania on Saturday evening. The event occurred south of Šakiai, as reported by meteorologist Gydis Valaika on the Facebook page "Orai ir klimatas Lietuvoje". According to photographs, the tornado may have briefly reached the ground. However, it likely did not cause any significant damage. Radar images showed a dark red color, indicating the tornado's intensity.
