Edited by: Tetiana Martynovska 17

Storm Wutip has brought severe weather to central Vietnam, triggering torrential rains, strong winds, and widespread flooding. The National Centre for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting reported dangerous conditions, including a high risk of landslides and flash floods.

As of June 13, the storm's center was over the southern waters of China's Hainan Island, with sustained winds reaching 102 km/h. Authorities have issued a level 3 disaster risk alert for the northern East Sea and the Gulf of Tonkin.

Provinces from Quang Binh to Hue City experienced heavy rainfall, with some areas exceeding 600mm in 24 hours. The downpours have led to significant flooding, causing evacuations and disrupting transportation across multiple provinces.
