The epicenter was located in the volcanic caldera of the Campi Flegrei, between Bagnoli and Pozzuoli, at a depth of 2 kilometers. Residents evacuated homes as a precaution. In Pozzuoli, a roof collapsed, resulting in one minor injury. Falling debris damaged parked vehicles in Bagnoli.
