The Unveiling: Premiere of Sensational Documentary 'The Disclosure Era'
Edited by: Uliana S.
The documentary film "Age of Disclosure" premiered on the Amazon Prime Video streaming platform on November 21, 2025. This production, helmed by director and producer Dan Farah, dives into the contentious subject of alleged government concealment regarding extraterrestrial intelligence and associated technologies. Farah dedicated approximately three years to working with his sources, asserting that U.S. government entities have been suppressing facts about non-human technology for a span of 80 years, dating back to around 1947.
The film’s release followed its screening at the SXSW festival in March 2025. Subsequently, it enjoyed a limited theatrical run in major metropolitan areas, specifically New York City, Los Angeles, and Washington, D.C. The core of the documentary relies on testimony provided by 34 current and former high-ranking officials hailing from American governmental, military, and intelligence sectors. These individuals claim to possess knowledge about crashed alien craft and the recovery of non-human biological entities.
Serving as the narrator for the film is Luis Elizondo, a former employee of the U.S. Department of Defense who was involved in the AATIP program. Elizondo posits the existence of a clandestine program, one that remains unknown even to the Secretary of Defense and the President, dedicated to the capture and reverse-engineering of technology originating from non-human sources. Jay Stratton, the former director of the UAP Task Force, echoed these serious concerns, drawing a parallel between the pursuit of this technology and the "Manhattan Project, only on steroids." He stressed that whichever nation achieves mastery over this technology first will secure global dominance for decades to come.
Director Dan Farah, who previously served as a producer on the film "Ready Player One," aimed for a presentation style that was as factual and non-sensational as possible. Farah noted that several potential sources ultimately declined participation due to fears concerning their professional standing or personal safety. He views this reluctance as compelling evidence supporting the existence of threats that help maintain the 80-year information blackout. The documentary also addresses the recovered materials, including the non-human bodies, which some interviewees suggest points toward the presence of multiple distinct species.
The arrival of "Age of Disclosure" coincides with a heightened period of public and political scrutiny surrounding the UAP phenomenon. This environment includes bipartisan hearings held in Congress and the proposal of the UAP Disclosure Act, an initiative spearheaded by Senators Chuck Schumer, Mike Rounds, and Kirsten Gillibrand, designed to mandate greater governmental transparency. Other notable figures mentioned in the film include Harold E. Puthoff and former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Intelligence, Chris Mellon. Mellon, much like Elizondo, encountered considerable bureaucratic pushback when attempting to raise alarms within the Pentagon.
Despite the internal consistency among the testimonies provided by these insiders, the film has not been immune to criticism. Owen Gleiberman, a reviewer for Variety, concluded that much of the evidence presented rests heavily on assertions rather than universally accepted, concrete confirmations. Nevertheless, supporters of the film, including podcaster Joe Rogan, have lauded the documentary for skillfully articulating a serious case supporting the reality of extraterrestrial life. Consequently, the film stands as a significant culmination of disclosure efforts amidst the ongoing legislative and public discourse concerning UAPs.
