Mysterious Crop Circles Reappear in Wiltshire and Dorset, UK: 2025 Update

Edited by: Uliana S.

Mysterious crop circles have reappeared in Wiltshire and Dorset, UK, sparking renewed interest and debate. On May 15, 2025, a Celtic knot design was discovered in a field of young malting barley in Sutton Veny, Wiltshire. This formation, measuring approximately 75 meters in diameter, quickly drew attention.

Just days later, on May 19, 2025, geometric shapes were reported near Culliford Tree Barrow, Weymouth, Dorset. This circle spans approximately 100 meters in diameter. The rapid appearance of these intricate patterns raises questions about their origins.

Theories and Access

While some speculate about extraterrestrial messages, others attribute the formations to artists or pranksters. The owner of the field in Sutton Veny is allowing public access for a £10 donation to their Go-Fund-Me campaign. However, the farmer in Dorset has not granted public access, urging respect for their wishes.

Wiltshire has been named as the country's number one hotspot for crop circle appearances. As of July 2023, there had been 380 crop circles observed in the county since 2005, averaging around 20 per year. The mystery continues to attract researchers and enthusiasts alike.
