Reports surfaced of an unusual object spotted in the evening sky over the Okinsky and Barguzinsky districts of Buryatia, Russia, around April 20th. Videos circulating online captured a bright, luminous orb partially veiled by clouds, followed by a separate, independently moving bright ring that eventually dissipated.
Residents shared their observations on the Telegram channel "Ves Ulan-Ude," expressing bewilderment. While some speculated about the object's nature, suggestions arose that the sighting could be attributed to a Falcon-9FT Block-5 rocket launch. This type of rocket is known to carry satellites, and similar sightings have been reported in other Russian cities following launches.
It's worth noting that in late February, pilots of a passenger plane en route from St. Petersburg to Chelyabinsk also reported observing a stationary gray sphere in the sky. Such incidents often spark public interest and debate, highlighting the complexities of identifying aerial phenomena.
