Labuan, Malaysia, is gearing up to host the inaugural Borneo Flora Festival (BFF) in 2025.
The festival, scheduled from July 26 to 30 at the Labuan International Sea Sports Complex, is expected to draw over 50,000 visitors.
Organized by the Labuan Corporation, the event will feature 20 exhibition gardens displaying over 200,000 tropical flowers and ornamental plants.
The festival aims to boost Labuan's tourism, create economic opportunities, and promote eco-tourism.
Themed gardens will include the Borneo Rainforest Gem, Magical Park, and Night Light Park, among others.
As part of the preparations, 250,000 flowering plants are being planted across the island.
