Archaeologists in Austria have discovered three well-preserved Roman mosaics during an excavation in the ancient city of Ovilava. The mosaics were found within a villa complex, suggesting the residence of a wealthy family during the Roman Empire. One notable mosaic features dolphins, a rare find in the region. The other mosaics depict a krater (a wine-mixing vase) and a geometric pattern. These discoveries indicate the building was likely an urban villa, reflecting the social standing of its occupants.
