The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum has launched "SNL: Ladies & Gentlemen...50 Years of Music," an exhibit celebrating the NBC show's significant impact on music. The exhibit, which opened May 23, 2025, highlights memorable moments from the comedy sketch series' 50-year history.
Visitors can view iconic items, including costumes from sketches like Adam Sandler's Operaman and Will Ferrell's Cowbell Guy. The exhibit provides an immersive experience with archival performance footage, including Akron's own Devo. An interactive display allows guests to listen to every "SNL" performance, categorized by season, artist, and Rock Hall inductees.
Adding to the experience, the Rock Hall will host an official opening party on June 14, 2025, featuring comedian Fred Armisen. The exhibit also features a recreation of Studio 8H and a custom SNL50 photo booth. The Foster Theatre will also be showing a 20-minute piece of the documentary Ladies & Gentlemen… 50 Years of SNL Music, directed by Ahmir “Questlove,”
