Bybit Launches MiCAR-Compliant Platform in Europe

On July 2, 2025, Bybit, the second-largest crypto exchange by trading volume, announced the official launch of its Bybit.eu website. This platform is designed for users in the European Economic Area (EEA) and is operated by Bybit EU GmbH, a fully licensed Crypto-Asset Service Provider (CASP) under the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCAR) (Source: Bybit, July 2, 2025).

Based in Vienna, Austria, Bybit EU GmbH has transferred its MiCAR license to 29 EEA countries, providing over 450 million Europeans access to regulated crypto services through a single, trusted platform. The platform offers brokerage services, advanced trading tools, and localized customer service in multiple European languages.

Bybit.eu aims to be a catalyst for cryptocurrency adoption in Europe, ensuring full compliance with MiCAR and adhering to the highest regulatory standards. The company plans to expand its presence with new regional offices in France, Germany, Spain, and Italy, in addition to its current locations in Vienna and Amsterdam.
