Robinhood Expands Crypto Offerings in Europe and Launches Staking in the US

Edited by: Yuliya Shumai

On June 30, 2025, Robinhood announced the expansion of its cryptocurrency offerings. This initiative introduces tokenized versions of over 200 U.S. stocks and ETFs for European investors. This allows eligible EU customers to trade commission-free.

The tokenized stocks are initially on the Arbitrum Layer-2 network. Robinhood plans to move these assets to its own Layer-2 blockchain. This will enable 24/7 trading and self-custody features.

By the end of summer, Robinhood will launch crypto perpetual futures in Europe. These will offer up to 3x leverage. Trades will be routed through Bitstamp, which Robinhood acquired for $200 million.

For U.S. customers, Robinhood introduced crypto staking services for Ethereum and Solana. Users can earn rewards through an app-based interface.

The current price of Robinhood Markets Inc (HOOD) is 94.4 USD, with a change of -3.64 USD (-0.04%) from the previous close. The intraday volume is 56373803. The latest trade time was Thursday, July 3, 21:15:00 UTC.
