Delhi University (DU) has launched a new course focused on fostering healthy relationships. The course, administered by the Department of Psychology, addresses growing concerns about relationship dynamics and their impact on young adults.
The curriculum aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills to navigate relationships constructively, addressing issues arising from unhealthy or toxic relationship patterns, and promoting awareness of intimacy. The four-credit course comprises three lectures and one tutorial session per week.
Designed for undergraduate students who have completed Class 12 and possess a foundational understanding of introductory psychology, the course can be taken alongside their primary academic subjects. It provides a platform for open discussions on topics often neglected in traditional educational settings, signaling a positive step towards addressing a critical need.
