The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE), in partnership with Seashore Group, has revealed the winners of the Green School Competition for the 2024-2025 academic year. This initiative promotes environmental sustainability within schools and boosts environmental awareness among students at all educational levels.
A total of 66 public and private schools participated, demonstrating strong engagement with national environmental priorities. The competition recognized outstanding efforts in resource conservation, waste reduction, and integrating sustainable development into education.
Winners were selected across primary, preparatory, and secondary levels, with special awards for research and recycled devices. The Green School Award aims to cultivate an environmentally conscious generation prepared to address future challenges and contribute to a sustainable society. This aligns with Qatar National Vision 2030, which prioritizes environmental development.
