Itel Solar Energy has launched its first Solar Energy Training Center at the University of Ibadan (UI). This initiative aims to empower youth and promote renewable energy adoption. The launch signifies Itel Solar Energy's commitment to education and talent development.

The training center offers a comprehensive solar education program. It combines classroom learning with practical, hands-on technical training. Students will receive weekly solar energy training, scholarships, and potential job placements within Itel Solar Energy.

The University of Ibadan's Vice-Chancellor, Professor Kayode Adebowale, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership. Itel Solar Energy also renovated the Student Union Study Hall, providing a 24/7 energy storage system. The hall now serves as a training venue and study hub with free charging stations.

Covenant Oladele, President of the University of Ibadan Students' Union Government (SUG), praised Itel Energy for providing a hub of opportunity. The initiative expands students' academic and career prospects through solar training and a modernized learning environment. Itel Solar Energy plans to replicate this model at other universities nationwide.
